We are looking for a highly self-motivated accounting representative who can assist in managing accounting and minimal data entry needs for our various business units. We are a global steel trading company firm dealing in prime, excess prime and secondary flat rolled steel products inclusive of cold rolled, hot rolled, galvanized, pre-painted, and tin mill products. Additionally, we are a leading exporter of used clothing from the United States to emerging markets throughout the world. Job Description:
This individual would handle all accounting related function of some of our business units, and deal with the following areas. This includes, but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Purchases, Sales, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, Human Resources, etc…
All activity would be in done in our ERP system (MAS200), CRM system (SalesLogix) and our document repository (Microsoft SharePoint) accordingly. Lastly, this individual would proactively maintain a banking relationship with the primary cash management banks (US Bank and Bank of America), and over time take, advantage of credit opportunities that may be offered as a means of capital planning and budgeting, and tax credit incentives.
Compensation and Growth:
This is open to discussion and negotiation based on mutual agreement. In addition, we provide an annual bonus based on work performance and contribution to company growth, health benefits, dental benefits, and discounts on vision. With that said, this applicant would be promoted to a managerial position with increased responsibilities and compensation.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent communication skills (ability to read/write/speak English)
- Must be assertive, honest, and reliable while being result and goal oriented
- Must be self motivated, and have strong work habits and excellent work ethic
- Prefer knowledge of following software
o MAS 200 (REQUIRED)
o SalesLogix
o Microsoft SharePoint
o Microsoft Outlook
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Excess
o Ability to surf the internet
Must have a bachelors degree or higher, or direct experience in one of the following fields: Business, Finance, Economics, International trade or global trade services.
