Medical Assistant,Minimal Access surgery!
Responsibilities:
Take detail medical history of previous injuries, surgeries, and general health.
Conduct physical examinations of patients.
Take blood samples, vital signs, performing other medical tests if needed.
Prepare patients for their treatments for injuries.
Answer the phones.
Call patents if no show.
Do the muscle relaxations, ultrasounds and assist patients for their needs.
Clinical Skills-
Back Office:Pap Smears, Pregnancy test, Urinalysis, Ovulation Test, Lab and X-ray test, EKG’s/glucometer , Transport patients to other clinical areas, Assist in minor surgical procedures, Check patient’s vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure and pain assessment. Assist provider during exams. HCG/ HgB / HCT testing, Specimen collection, bandaging/dressing, positioning/draping, medication administration, injections/immunizations and spirometry, CPR, and first aid.
