I am an American filipina born and raised here in Hawaii. I am posting an ad at this time in hopes of making mine and my husbands dream come true; that dream being, able to adopt a Filipino baby and raise the child as our own here in Honolulu.
We are unable to have children of our own, but that does not deter us from the desire to have our own child and raise this blessing in a loving, caring, and healthy environment. We are good people with the best intentions of the child. We will be flying back over to the Philippines in approximately 90 days to see what we can do about adopting a baby there. Our preference is a baby one year and under.

I am an educated, professional single mother by choice of a 16 month old daughter. I am also expecting twins in June, 2009. I have never hired a nanny before, but for obvious reasons I anticipate a need for live-in help towards the end of my pregnancy and for a couple of years after the arrival of the twins. I expect to be home with the babies the first several months, but eventually will return to work full time.
I am looking to employ someone kind, experienced, honest, and reliable to help with domestic life for my family. Anticipated starting date would be March, 2009, but that is very flexible. We are good people, and would love to include the nanny as a member of our family. We would pay well, include separate private living quarters, and be respectful, honest and attentive to your quality of life. Duties would include all expected in a busy household with small children: General housecleaning, help with cooking, laundry, and of course childcare, including help with feedings, and other tasks like bathing and going for walks, etc. My daughter is currently attending daycare, which will probably continue uninterrupted.
We have 4 children all girls, 2 are in school from 7 am to 6:30 pm. The other 2 are ages 4 and 7 month old. We also work from home.
PLEASE NOTE: This position requires you to wear a uniform. White pants and blouse that we will provide for you.
Duties would include:
General housekeeping.
*Laundry and some light ironing.
*You must be flexible to assist with parties and other family functions
*This position requires someone who can follow a detailed outline of duties as written and articulated verbally
*Helping with meals - Occasional cooking (breakfast is a must and snack and meals of the kids, Otherwise my husband and I cook as well. My kids favorite meal is Nilaga, torta, Spagetti, Sinigang so I am sure any Filipino can handle that task).
*General childcare. (Preparing for the kids clothes for the following day, including their uniforms, ensuring they eat breakfast sometimes you have to bring them to school or pick them up. Go with them to their appointment when we can’t go with them, play with them, go to museums, playground, watching movies, prepare/serving their snacks and foods. Ensuring they do their homeworks, giving and assisting them in their bath time)
Must agree to taking physical examination (passing it- at our expense) before taking the position. And getting immunization as well as TB test.
Will require NBI & Police clearance as well as fingerprinting.
Must submit reference, both professional and personal (Personal reference must include non-relative).
If you don’t have a CPR certification- you must agree to taking one at our expense before departure.
MUST HAVE VALID US VISA!!!
Willing to pay for airline ticket but will not pay for it in advance (trying to avoid scammers). We will buy the ticket for you. We will require that you work for a 1 year straight. You can go back to Manila (using the round trip ticket) after a year of employment and we expect that you would return after 1 month. We will then again sanction your round trip cost. You must be willing to sign an employment contract of 3 years with a lawyer in MANILA.
Ideal person is a hard worker and self managing. Mature (but young at heart) and can work independently. Must have a good sense of humor, can communicate well in English both verbally and written.
We will provide you with your own room, housing and meals are included. Will have access to the internet after working hours. Will be giving 1-hour free long distance every 2 weeks. Will also provide for 1 winter clothing assistance to buy your winter coat and boots. We will take care of your personal toiletry expenses monthly (Basic needs only!). So your salary will be intact.
Salary: $500.00 USD. MONTHLY. Bonus will be given depending on performance.
