Re: Question about Filipino girls (Hawaii USA) (P'que)

Date: 2009-11-06, 6:38PM PHT

Since there are thousands of Filipinas living near you the logical place to start would be there.

The next logical thing would be to take two or three weeks off from work and come here to visit and try to find a good girl to marry. At best the undertaking is rather long and expensive and filled with minor or major obstacles along the way especially if you intend to take your Filipina bride back to the USA. Any city or province could be a good place to find good Traditional Filipinas; the hard part is finding “The Right One” because life is not a fairy tale and things don’t always work out like in fantasy land. Don’t be FOOLED into thinking any Filipina will make a wonderful wife for any man.

Most cities are full of girls fresh from the province trying to find work to help support their families or attending college. Just because a girl is in the city doesn’t mean she is a callous city girl out to scam every guy she can. Believe me there are plenty of bad girls and scammers in the provinces.

The internet has become almost useless for seeking a mate because of all the scammers and bull shitters. I’d say the adult chat rooms, Asian or Filipino chat rooms may be better than trying your luck in craigslist or similar forums but my first contact with a Filipina scammer was in a yahoo chat room where she initially contacted me.

Before coming to the Philippines I knew several girls from long term online communications that I thought were possibly good matches for me but after meeting them in person and getting to know them, I decided none of them were for me or maybe that was me for them. I did eventually meet the perfect woman “for me” but it was completely by chance and was not connected to the internet.

Anywhere in the Philippines can be a good place to meet good girls. It doesn’t really matter if you are in the cities or out in the rural areas, in church, at the mall, walking along a beach or a city street or in a club setting, good girls can be anywhere but so can bad girls. There are more possibilities in the cities because there are more girls in smaller areas but that may not be the best for everyone. Given too many choices and things can get pretty confusing.

I think the main thing to remember in selecting a possible mate is that even though she may look like an angel that doesn’t mean she is an angel on the inside. Infatuation or Falling in Love doesn’t mean men should lose sight of reality. Take an honest look and see if what she portrays to be on the surface is the way she really is by observing the way she treats you and others in her life.

The thing to remember when visiting here to search for a Filipina is that in person many are shy (even the educated ones) so you may have to look for signs of interest or make the first move to communicate. After the initial contact is made many Filipinas are happy to talk with foreigners. If a girl doesn’t seem interested move on, married or committed girls will some times ignore a man instead of telling him she is already in a relationship. Some Filipinas are truly not interested in meeting foreigners. Deal with it and move on.

Some men think working girls (sales girls, office staff, nurses etc.) will be best but some girls work out of necessity only and are not really work oriented and will quit given half a chance expecting a guy to support her and usually her family. Also it is really hard to get to know or have a decent relationship with a girl that spends twelve to sixteen hours a day six or seven days a week working and commuting as is common with many sales girls. And you can forget about the live-in maid/yaya types having a personal life. Most maid/yaya’s get one day a month off if they are lucky and usually not over nighters. Don’t sell the maids short either some are nice, intelligent and hard working but for some reason or the other can’t find other work so they are stuck in a dead end job just to have a place to live and food to eat.

This is just my humble opinion from personal experience and much observation and is not meant to disrespect good hard working honest Filipinas.

Good luck in your search.

Take care,
Joe Kano!
