We are looking for a community software manager to help technically run, build, and moderate our online forum. We operate the Vbulletin online forum and seek a skilled community manager to help maintain and organize the forum with the CEO. This involves online security, subscriptions, moderation, customer service and helping fix any technical issues. The vBulletin online forum is written in PHP, so a proven knowledge of PHP is valued and helpful but not essential.


Manage day-to-day communications on vBulletin forum
Help maintain policies and best practices for all channels
Manage social listening tools and drive positive sentiment
Manage integrated automated moderation software
Check any 'flag up' issues from users
Work with team of writers and bloggers to co-ordinate and push social media activity
Track, analyze and report out performance of channels

Skills and Experience

Either experience in computer tech, programming & PHP
Or experience in communications, PR, Social Media
Expertise and enthusiasm for social media and community building online, including knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, content development and metrics
Eye for detail and ability to work well with others
Comfort with a fast-paced, always on, start up environment
Fluency in English
At least a bachelors in a related subject
